Penguin 4 Is Now Released With Spam-Fighting Penguin 2.0 Technology

Yahoo Inc. is now ready to buy blogging site Tumblr Inc. for $1.1 billion, and declares to not screw it up. The deal, proclaimed on Monday, is a bold bet by Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer to revitalize the company by appointing a Web property with strong visitor traffic but little revenue. One of the biggest deals will help Yahoo to tap into a younger generation, active online user base at Tumblr.

“The blogging network Tumblr in terms of website traffic and users is an immediate growth tale for Yahoo," Mayer said. Tumblr is a most popular hub & blogging site of user-generated content, drawing young users who use the platform to post their text and pictures.

But the deal raises concerns among the fans of blogging site Tumblr that the site could finish up being messed up by the ads that brings in billions of dollars a year to Yahoo Inc.
